In addition to books published by or under the auspices of The Center, the Center currently publishes two journals: The Journal of Haitian Studies and Screening Noir.

The Journal of Haitian Studies is the official publication of the Haitian Studies Association. It is the only refereed scholarly journal dedicated solely to scholarship on Haiti and Haiti's relations with the international community. Click here for more information about JOHS.

Screening Noir is the official newsletter of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies's (SCMS) African, African-American Caucus.

The Center for Black Studies supports the publication of books by scholars and researchers associated with the Center, including Black Studies: Current Issues, Enduring Questions. The Center also sponsors publication of working papers including:
